In comparison to Camelot, CORE has been around a very short amount of time. It was created in 1947 when the Agency was blocked from working in the USSR. They were a Western focused group that in the beginning were far more concerned with having a ruling elite of Reincarnates in their little sub section of society. CORE stands for the Conglomeration of Reincarnated Elite, and today isn’t quite as focused on an elite rule as it once was.
CORE hasn’t been around long but its changed hands many times, either through deals, backstabbing or blackmail. This lead to the message being diluted until no one’s really sure what their motives are any longer, other than destroying Camelot and causing as much damage as possible.
Regardless of its age and unfocused agenda the organisation does rather well for itself. They never hesitate, and are always willing to do bad deeds to get results. Torture, assassination and blackmail are just three of the tactics CORE employs to get what it wants.
The Headquarters for CORE can be found in Los Angeles. The ground floor is a club, Bloodlust, that is the place for young reincarnates to be. People come from all over the world to party here and it's a place where almost any vice can be satisfied. Upstairs is a completely difference place, it's a place where organisation attempts to happen but also where plans are made to destroy Camelot and everything that stands in their way.
These are the characters who have already joined, expressed interest or whose joining is being plotted. Also listed is their speciality/role within Camelot.
Like Camelot, CORE has specific on going projects that they focus their time on, these are continuous projects but not necessarily the only things that are happening as CORE will also be reacting to Camelot’s actions and any information they receive. These will only be mentioned here if they become long term projects, but they will be announced both in and out of character.
Each venture has a project leader that answers directly to Harper Kennedy. If you’re interested in playing one of these characters please contact the mods, until then they will be NPCed.
Surveillance
Lying in wait for members of Camelot, or the reincarnate community in general isn’t something that CORE is particularly good at when compared to their combat abilities and other less savoury actions that they take to win the war. However, it is still important and is a top priority for the organisation. It’s not the best way to get information, but it works.
And who doesn’t mind lurking in the shadows waiting for prey?

Reconnaissance and Information Gathering
Like Camelot, CORE tries to have members inside the other organisations. It’s a dangerous job, and not one that everybody’s cut out for. You need a certain mentality that many do not posses, but for the few that do it can be one of the most difficult and interesting jobs you can do for CORE. Although they face less chance of torture and death if they’re discovered within Camelot, it’s still not without its dangers.
Traditionally the role has been filled by people with a traditionally good reincarnation that have decided to align themselves with CORE. However, anyone who’s good at lying and faking goodness could be picked.
CORE knows that not everyone that joins their side is going to be equipped to deal with the situations that they’ll find themselves in. For that they have training. Trainers take it upon themselves to teach old and new recruits the skills they will need to take down Camelot.
Areas of training include: Computer skills. Evasive driving. Basic law. Field medicine. How to lie well How to blend in with your surroundings Self-defence: Beginner Self-defence: Intermediate Self-defence: Expert | Jacqueline Legrand Weapons training: Beginner Weapons training: Intermediate Weapons training: Expert | Jacqueline Legrand Assassination. Interrogation/torture techniques. Breaking and Entering. Infiltration. How to bug a person, residence, office or transportation without being caught. Research skills. Analysis skills. Explosives. Magic; how to use it, and how to identify it and what you should do in those circumstances
Possibly CORE’s area of expertise is in their combat strategy. Unlike Camelot, they don’t care about collateral damage and will do whatever it takes to achieve their goal. They do not always use traditional methods of combat, sometimes they chose to be far more subversive than people would suspect them to be if that will work better to help them achieve their goal.

Propaganda
A war is just as much about the hearts and minds of the public as it is about the two opposing sides. CORE knows this just as much as Camelot does and uses the Agency radio and TV service, as well as printed posters and flyers to try and sway the general reincarnated public to their way of thinking. They deserve to rule them because the reincarnates deserve more than to live in secret; they deserve their own government and their own land. Why does Camelot oppose this?
Recruitment is an ongoing process that only really stops during peace time. The easiest way to be recruited is just to ask over the journals, but remember to filter it to the bad guys. However, those that get the attention of those within CORE are also often invited to join them.
